Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MintCarb™ (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. The Platform is operated by MintCarb (Pvt., Ltd.) ("WMAD", "we", "us"). If you are using MintCarb on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MintCarb is a Carbon Intelligence Platform providing: greenhouse gas emission tracking and reporting; carbon credit registry and trading tools; compliance management for CCTS, BRSR, CBAM, Singapore CCS, and other regulatory frameworks; AI-powered carbon analysis (CarbonIQ™); and calculators and market data tools. Some features are available without registration; full platform access requires a user account.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@mintcarb.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use MintCarb only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: upload false or misleading emission data; attempt to access another organisation's data; reverse-engineer or scrape the Platform; use the Platform for any fraudulent carbon market activity; or violate any applicable carbon market regulations (CCTS, CBAM, CCS, etc.).

5. Data & IP

You retain ownership of your emission data and company data uploaded to MintCarb. By uploading data, you grant WMAD a limited licence to process it to provide the service. MintCarb platform, brand, technology, and content (including CarbonIQ™, CarbonSense™, CarbonComply™, CarbonTrade™, CarbonStory™, CarbonVerify™) are owned by MintCarb (Pvt., Ltd.).

6. Calculators & Estimates

The free calculators (footprint, CBAM, GHG, offset) provide indicative estimates only. They should not be used as the sole basis for regulatory compliance filings. For audit-ready GHG inventories and official compliance submissions, use the full MintCarb platform and consult qualified professionals. WMAD is not liable for decisions made based on calculator estimates.

7. Subscription & Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually). Free trial periods are stated at sign-up. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no pro-rata refunds. WMAD reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WMAD's liability for any claim arising from use of MintCarb is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. WMAD is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, carbon market losses, or regulatory penalties.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. For users in Singapore, local mandatory consumer protection laws apply to the extent required by Singapore law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email (to the address on your account) at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of MintCarb after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
