We built MintCarb because carbon compliance was too hard
India's carbon market is one of the most complex in the world. Multiple regulators, five different compliance schemes, sector-specific methodologies, and deadlines that change every quarter. We built MintCarb because no existing tool handled all of it — and Indian industry needed one that did.
Why MintCarb exists
India's Designated Consumers — the roughly 1,000 industrial facilities that fall under the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme — face a new regulatory reality. Quarterly GHG reporting. Annual CCC settlements. BRSR disclosures for listed companies. CBAM calculations for exporters. Each scheme has its own methodology, its own deadlines, its own data requirements.
Most companies are handling this with spreadsheets, consultants, and manual form-filling. That approach breaks down fast when compliance is quarterly and penalties run to ₹10 lakh per day for late submissions.
MintCarb is the platform that fixes this. We automate the data collection, apply the correct BEE-aligned methodology, flag compliance gaps before deadlines, and generate submission-ready reports. What takes weeks in a spreadsheet takes hours in MintCarb.
The team behind MintCarb
Vijay founded WMAD Private Limited to build AI-native platforms for complex, regulated industries. MintCarb is WMAD's first standalone product — conceived after watching Indian manufacturers struggle with the regulatory shift from PAT to CCTS and realising that existing tools were not built for India's specific regulatory environment.
MintCarb is engineered from the ground up: dedicated infrastructure on Hetzner Germany, PostgreSQL with row-level tenant isolation, BEE-aligned calculation engines, and a compliance calendar built around Indian and Singapore regulatory deadlines. No white-labelled generic software. No global platform adapted for India as an afterthought.
What we stand for
Accuracy over automation
Every emission factor, every methodology, every calculation in MintCarb is traceable to a primary source — BEE, CEA, IPCC, GHG Protocol. We do not round numbers for convenience or guess when data is missing.
Built for regulators, not just reports
A good sustainability report is a consequence of good data. MintCarb is designed to produce data quality that survives a BEE audit, a SEBI query, or a third-party assurance review — not just a nice-looking PDF.
Local knowledge, global architecture
India's grid emission factor is not the world average. Singapore's CCS threshold is 25,000 tCO₂e. These details matter. MintCarb is built by people who know that CCTS and EU ETS are structurally different — and built for both.
No lock-in
Your emission data belongs to you. Export everything in standard formats at any time, in any state of your subscription. We earn your continued subscription through value, not data hostage-taking.
